High voltage lines inspection: cable extraction and 3D modeling from aerial images

3D modeling of electrical cables in the form of 3D polylines for vegetation management under power lines

Results obtained from 2600 aerial images taken by D-Tection comapny, post-processing by Drones Imaging.

Carried out from aerial images and with Agisoft Metashape software, combined 3D modeling of the terrain, vegetation and the electricity network, make it possible to precisely identify the pruning zones under and near high voltage lines.

3D modeling of high voltage lines carried out by deep learning and photogrammetry.
